I loved the style of this tote, but sadly I had to return it. The material is a lot more fragile and scratchy than I was expecting. I was worried that the material of this bag would catch on delicate fabrics I might be wearing and snag them. Also, the bag was surprisingly heavy.
Despite these issues, I really loved the style of the bag and was very tempted to keep it. However, as I was trying the bag on, I noticed that either in transit (or from my very brief handling of the bag) the bag had already developed a snag.
I wasn’t excited to pay $160 for a bag that would look frayed and worn after just a few days of use. I try not to buy “disposable” clothing and accessories–there’s enough stuff filling landfills already, I don’t need to add to the pile.
