The color is not quite as ivory or cream colored as the picture makes it look. It almost has a very light beige tone to it. However, the dress style was as pictured. If you are a little bustier than normal probably not the right style. I ordered the size to fit my bust and the waist and hips were way to big. Had I liked the color better I most likely would have just altered the dress to fit. I ordered a 6. I am 5’2″ and 125lbs.
